Privacy Policy

What TryTool collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Last updated 10 August 2026

TryTool is a business tool for trucking dispatch, so most of what it holds is company record-keeping rather than personal information. This policy explains both.

1At a Glance

The short version. The sections below give the detail.

  • We collect what running the Service requires: your account details, what you and your company enter, files you upload, and basic technical information.
  • We use it to operate the Service and produce your reports.
  • We do not sell personal information.
  • Advertising comes from Google and may use cookies. You can turn off personalisation.
  • You can ask us to access, correct or delete information we hold about you.

2What We Collect

  • Account details — what we need to sign you in and know which company you belong to.
  • What you enter — the loads, documents, contacts and notes you and your company add.
  • Files you upload — documents you send for processing, and the information read from them.
  • Technical information — standard request data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, plus aggregate statistics about how the Service is used.

3How We Use It

To:

  • Run, maintain and improve the Service.
  • Sign you in and keep your account secure.
  • Build the reports and estimates you use, from your company's own records.
  • Investigate problems, prevent abuse, and keep an activity record.
  • Show advertising.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not hand what you enter to anyone else for their own marketing.

4Cookies and Browser Storage

We use a cookie to keep you signed in; the Service cannot work without it. Your preferences — language, theme, display settings — are saved in your browser and stay on your device. Clearing your browser data removes them. Our advertising partner may set its own cookies, described below.

5Who We Share It With

  • People in your company — what each person sees depends on their role. Anyone holding a public tracking link can view that load without signing in, so share those links carefully.
  • Our service providers — the companies that host the Service, store data, provide maps and location lookups, supply weather information, deliver notifications and measure performance. They may use it only to provide those services to us.
  • Systems your company connects — where your company has asked us to send records to another tool it uses.
  • Legal reasons — where the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of users and the Service.

TryTool is operated from Pennsylvania, United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to a country whose data-protection rules differ from those where you live.

6Advertising

TryTool shows advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, and to personalise them based on your browsing elsewhere. They are not given what you enter into the Service. Google lets you review or turn off ad personalisation in My Ad Center.

7Security

We protect information with encrypted connections, industry-standard password protection, and access checks applied on every request. No service can promise perfect security. If you think an account has been compromised, change the password — which ends existing sessions — and tell us.

8How Long We Keep It

Business records stay for as long as your company uses the Service, because they are its operating history. Account details stay until the account is removed. We may keep limited information longer where the law requires it, or to resolve a dispute.

9Your Choices

Most information about you is visible and editable in the app. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete what we hold, and depending on where you live you may have further rights, such as objecting to processing or asking for a copy. Records belonging to a company are deleted on that company's instruction rather than an individual's. Get in touch and we will help.

10Children

The Service is a business tool, is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided some, tell us and we will remove it.

11Changes to This Policy

We update this policy as the Service changes. The date at the top shows the last revision, and we announce material changes in the app. Using the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
